Animal: Pallas's cat - Felis Manul
Location: Parken Zoo, Sweden
Camera: Canon eos 7D + Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5 6 DG OS
I love these small cats, but I actually know very little about them.
I know they are hard to keep in captivity, most pallas's cats in
captivity die from sickness. Afaik, they are really hard to breed
in captivity aswell, so they don't make it easy for us to keep
them from extinction. This zoo has two adults and I think they
are a breeding couple - they had a litter of 6 kittens (!) in 2011.
Let's hope for another litter soon! I think this is the female, Frida
(quite fun, she has the same name as me). She is quite shy, so I
rarely get to take her pictures. But when I do, I'm stoked. Isn't
she a beauty? Look at those eyes. It's so intence. She's really
got a speciall look.

Wow, I never know anything about this cat!
They're beautiful indeed. I just hope that these beauties will still be around for ages to come.
